I'll keep reading the author's work, but Going Too Far was amazing and my expectations were sooo high coming into this one. But Forget You didn't quite do it for me. The heroine was annoying. The things she let her father get away with saying about her mother, and the threats she put up with. And the way she kept throwing the "You went to juvie" in Doug's face - even preventing him from getting a job at her family's water park - bugged me. And I really did love the hero Doug, but the stupid things he did in the name of getting Zoey to call him (i.e. show up late to swim practice daily....although he's counting on a swim scholarship to attend college), but he's intelligent and well-read? It just didn't make sense to me. There were hot moments and the chemistry between Zoey and Doug was really good, but I was hoping to enjoy the story more.
