Just a comment - I was surprised that after the marital rape scene (when Roarke was under the influence of the villian’s mind-altering technology)….Roarke admits to Eve that although he’s a changed man now, he’s been that dark man before. I’m wondering just how dark things will get as more of Roarke’s shady past is revealed. I still love him and find him very intriguing. Just as Eve, I know and I accept him :) ….So I’m clear, I did
not take that conversation with Eve to mean that Roarke has actually raped women in the past. So far, Naked in Death and Immortal in Death (Books 1 & 2) are still my favorities, but I very much love this series.
